Sense of an Ending

The series Sense of an Ending was produced for a group exhibition at George Eastman House titled Of Time and Buildings, curated by Alison Nordström. Conflating both time and geography, each photograph in this series is a digital construction. The source material for these constructions comes from dozens of individual images of homes under construction as well as homes at various stages of decline, photographed at different times and in different locations. Sense of an Ending distills the life cycle of buildings and the experience of geography into single images, suggesting that the experience of time and place is unfixed, malleable and subjective.
